Aubrey Mutale, MABE
Aubrey Mutale is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Unicapital Group. He started his career at the Central Bank of Zambia and subsequently spent 12 years in Commercial and Investment banking. Mr Mutale held senior positions at Commerce bank and Investrust bank in Zambia. Prior to setting up Unicapital, he also worked for an investment banking firm in Johannesburg called Asset Investment Frontiers (AIF) as Director in the Corporate Finance Division. Mr Mutale also sits on the Board of Executive Financial Services (Exefin) in Zambia.






 

Dr Patrick Makawa, PhD; MBA;BBA Hons; BSc Eng
Dr Patrick Makawa is the Chairman of the Unicapital Group. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the South African Electricity Industry, having worked in senior positions in Eskom and National Electricity Regulator.He has more than 20 years of experience in structuring Energy transactions.Dr makawa specialises in capital budgeting, economic evaluation of projects tariff design and project management. He also a member of various professional boards including the World Renewable Energy Council.


Douglas Mundopa, BSc, MIFM
Douglas Mundopa has an Information Technology background and has been heavily involved in numerous Black Economic Empowerment ("BEE") transactions in South Africa, both in IT sector and other sectors. Particularly he was instrumental in structuring numerous leveraged buyout BEE transactions while at Investec, and continues to do so at the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa. Mr Mundopa currently also sits on the Board of Accelon SA, a South African based telecommunication service provider with operations in a number of African countries and with investors based in Europe and South Africa.
